The Project

Milton Keynes Contemporary is a new initiative and exhibition space for professional artists looking to present their work to professional gallery standards. The exhibition space is located in Midsummer Arcade, actually in the mall of thecentre:mk adjacent to John Lewis. The project is funded by thecentre:mk and is supported by Culture Team Milton Keynes, John Lewis and Murrays Printers and jnsculpture. Waterstones bookshop acts on our behalf to sell our publications.

The project is intended to profile regional, national and invited artists, presenting work on a variety of themes and within a variety of different media. New work can be generated for WHITEWALL, or existing work exhibited if appropriate for the space.

The gallery is funded and publicised by thecentre:mk in partnership with the Culture Team Milton Keynes. Applications to Arts Council England in response to artist proposals could assist specific artist proposals.
