|  | | Your proposal WHITEWALL offers a platform for artists to develop new or exhibit existing works. We are interested in creative and inspiring high quality projects which have a broad depth of interest and are visually dynamic. Proposals can respond to your existing work or relate to Milton Keynes or the region. Artists will be expected to consider how their work responds to the space, as an exhibition on the wall, or utilise the surrounding space in innovative ways. The project needs to reflect the very public location in content and installation and no invigilator staff will support the exhibition during the show. Alongside your proposal submissions from artists need to demonstrate and include the following points; - In the majority of cases artists need to have completed a BA or MA Fine Art or equivalent qualification and show evidence of the following;
- Maintained an independent professional practice for at least three years or;
- Artists will have to demonstrate that they have an established practice and have some kind of track record, for example; artists who have already had a group or solo show or have undertaken a commission, residency or received an award or bursary. Artists need to provide evidence that they have produced an independent body of work that is innovative and executed at a high quality. A CV of recent work is also required
- Made at least three public presentations of work in a professional context
- Artists who are open to critical discussion about their work and who can actively develop and implement creative projects to strengthen their professional practice; artists who are clearly demonstrating that they are prepared to commit the necessary time and effort in order to benefit from the project
- A proposal and spreadsheet costing of how the artist would use the space
- Students are generally not eligible, unless invited.
