WHITEWALL

thecentre:mk's professional arts space

“We are beginning to realise that the thecentre:mk is not just a shopping centre. More and more we are realising that we have an obligation to the city of Milton Keynes and our participation in cultural events is very important in implementing that”

Jackie Tracey, Commercial and Events Manager, thecentre:mk

Milton Keynes Contemporary and WHITEWALL offer artists the opportunity to exhibit in Central Milton Keynes to the professional standards of the best exhibition venues in the region. Exhibitions are curated from artists who show a uniqueness, vision and talent and whose work is suitable for development for Milton Keynes Contemporary.

The advantages of working on a project for the WHITEWALL make Milton Keynes Contemporary an exciting gallery and development opportunity for artists. Artists are asked to consider how they can adapt their practice and themes to offer exhibitions, site specific or public art installations at the venue. Projects can be based on existing work, new work or records of site specific projects produced off site. The exhibition space is not a selling venue, more a project designed to create stimulating and critical debate.

Whether you're just visiting, or an artist looking to develop their exhibition career, then please contact us or leave feedback. We welcome your input.

Many thanks
